Best of the East
It's no surprise that The Prince George Hotel keeps scooping up the Best Hotel award year after year. According to general manager Craig Norton, it's the details that distinguish this hotel from the rest. "We try to accomodate guests in any way we can," says Norton. "If they prefer raspberry yogurt over vanilla, we'll remember that next time." And wait, because it gets better: If guests want a personal trainer or a treadmill in their room, staff can provide that too. That eagerness to please is precisely what sets this hotel apart. The long list of amenities and services includes luxurious rooms and suites; a complementary business centre, pool, and fitness centre; and a great downtown location. Plus, let's not forget the innovative cuisine served at the hotel's restaurant, Gio, as well as continual additions such as the new pet friendly service, BowWowMeow. Frankly, it's no wonder that The Prince George keeps surfacing as the best hotel in Nova Scotia. -K.O.
